Create a Contract Terms document

To add a Contract Terms document:

1. Contract Terms are created from Regimes, so first make sure the correct Regime is linked to the hierarchy.
2. Select the consolidation node where the new document will be added. Contract Terms obey the same inheritance rules as other documents so their position in the hierarchy is important (see Inheritance of Contract Terms).
3. Right-click on the consolidation node and select Add > Contract Node.
4. Enter the name in the New Contract window and click OK. The maximum length is 140 characters. Names must begin with an alphabetical or numerical character and cannot contain = \ ; : * <> / @ ? | “ +.
5. The document will appear in the hierarchy. Double-click on it to open it and edit the terms.

Note: Only one Contract Terms document can be added to a consolidation node.
